Narfe von Semkov (Resilience Corps Leader)

Narfe von Semkov

Hi, my name is Narfe von Semkov, and I am a CERENE Resilience Corps Leader. I live within O’ahu’s Neighborhood Board #18, Aliamanu/Salt Lake/Foster Village. I am interested in the advancement of healthcare industries that will provide quick and effective treatments at a lower cost. I am especially passionate about resolving health or emotional crisis concerns for people who suffer from sudden changes in the environment that affect them in our neighborhood communities. As part of my work with the Resilience Corps Leaders (RCLs), I will be promoting food security through the Pohukaina Food Pantry at Kapi’olani Community College, serving people in need of food without focusing or calculating on their current state. I will also be conducting research and assisting with the demographic data collection. I will also be working on researching the right types of nutritional methods for consumers to prevent possible climate change by offering suggestions for healthy food ideas to eat that can be prepared without affecting our environment. I like traveling, enjoying the food and culture of different countries and going to white-sand beaches. Something about me that you may not know is that I speak four languages, and one of them is Swedish!
