Hi, my name is Nicole Miyahara and I’m a TBSE Student Leader with CERENE. I live within O’ahu’s Neighborhood Board #25, Miliani. My field of study is economics and I’m interested in exploring the concepts and fostering communication of sustainability, circular economy, and the integration of indigenous practices in present-day O’ahu. My hope is that from our conversations blossoms actions that ultimately result in ours and future generations living in security for basic human needs like food and water. These days, I like to spend my free time listening to self-development audio books while I crochet or spending quality time with my loved ones.
