Aloha, my name is Heidi Tran. I’m a Vietnamese student in CERENE and currently an Accounting major at Kapiʻolani Community College. I plan to transfer to UH West Oʻahu for a bachelor’s degree and I’m hoping that I can get another one for Economics in UH Manoa. I’m living in the Kakaʻako area under Neighborhood Board #11. I’m passionate about teaching Vietnamese and keeping our culture alive here in Hawaiʻi while growing alongside the community. I love helping students and families feel connected and supported. Outside of CERENE, you’ll usually find me by the beach, going on long walks, hiking, journaling my day, or stopping to say hi to every wild cat I meet, especially around Ala Moana Beach Park.
