Kinzang Dorji (Action 15 Graduate Research Assistant)

Kuzuzangpo, my name is Kinzang Dorji and I am an Action 15 leader. I am from a small Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan and currently enrolled in a graduate program in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. I have worked for the Government of Bhutan for over 6 years in various capacities such as Architect, Landscape designer, Urban planner and have years of experience in the field of construction industry and city planning. My area of interests are the roles of built form and land use planning in disaster management and climate resilience. I am very excited to be part of the Action 15 team and contribute towards the development of the Community Resilience Hub in O’ahu. I can efficiently use software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Trimble Sketchup, Vray rendering, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, 3D Lumion, etc. In my free time, I love traveling and taking landscape photographs.
